GFH: Well we were all chuffed to bits to get new owners, but the deal wasn’t straight forward simply because the original backer wouldn’t deal with Bates, and you can’t blame him can you as the twat has previous. GFH went it alone and after an amazing 8-months managed to do it, but left Harvey in post and moved Bates around the office, but he’s still there. It then comes out that GFH don’t have enough cash and have been working in the background to sell the club on, or at least sell shares. You couldn’t make it up could you?. So the season on its last legs and the team are still 8-points away from play-offs, so yet again another season lost down here where we don’t belong. 5/10

Warnock: Brilliant record and many believed was the unluckiest manager as he never had a chance in the premier league. He almost walked last summer because Bates shafted him, but was promised backing by the potential new owners. The deal dragged on and funds were limited so no players that we targeted arrived. He did however bring in some decent (On paper) players. All season we’ve been garbage and the manager has brought in 20 players and still can’t slot them into a cohesive unit. The January transfer window went and as usual 2nd choice players brought in and the last 3-games have shown that we should have won all 3 and picked up 9-points to take us into the play off positions. Warnock states he wishes the season was starting because this is his best team now. Well Neil we’d be bottom of the league with 1-point – so thanks for your insight. Warnock is very quick in blaming players for poor results and never takes any blame. He seems to think we’ve done well because we have had results in cup games and complains that Leeds fans glasses are always half empty. Well Neil after 8-years under Bates and being lied to and another wasted season under your leadership, we have every right to be downbeat, where is the good news mate 4/10

So 9 out 20 from me so far

I'd also give gfh 5/10 but Warnock 1/10, and thats only for persistence. Still want him to stay as long as gfh are around. They wouldnt have a clue who to appoint or the finance to attract anyone any good. As I've previously said, I believe we're close to what we'd hoped for months ago, a new owner with cash

    ABOUT right Doc

I can't believe that already I am hoping GFH will really sell the club.

On Warnock, we knew some of the negatives about him before he came so no suprisies for me anyway. I think its hard though to judge a manager who has niot been backed, always hard to know what he'd have done differently. Were those players he brought in his choices... yes, I assume.... but were they his number 1 or number 8 choices? .............. suspect not number 1 choices. That said, I do wonder if he'd made the best of the players he has had.

Interesting that there seem to be more buyers around, though, now the seller is GFh and not our saviour <laugh>

Alarm bells were ringing from day one with GFH they are an investment bank, surely none of us believed that they were here for the long term or that they would throw any real money into the pot for players? Remember they are not playing with their own money, it is investors money they are using and they can't afford to take too much of a gamble/risk

Warnock has managed in Prem. Well, been a manager...but technically couldn't manage.
