Rangers have filed paperwork setting up the possibilty that within ten days they could go into administration.

That would mean an immediate ten point deduction.........are football clubs in Scotland finding it that tough ?

Seems so... and shocked Plym... probably a lot more teams in financial crisis that are contemplating the same route.

Is it really that much of a shock up there? The fact it is Rangers makes people sit up and take notice but lets be honest the Scottish leagues are absolute small fry in terms of world wide football. You only have to look at the lower end of their leagues at the numbers of supporters they get. Hardly enough to sustain a championship club at best or a league two club at worst. Rangers have always been well followed along with Celtic and the stagnation of their top league because of the domination of the two has probably helped people to be less interested. At least with our top league there is a chance 4 maybe 5 clubs could be involved at the end of a season. In Scotland it is either one or the other and nobody else gets a look in apart from once in 20 years. How boring is that. There seems little appetite in investing in it because the chances of success or a return on that money is virtually nil. It's not as if they command huge TV money either which would at least help. If Rangers go then watch a domino effect up there because there are a few others heading for the cliffs.

It's qualifying for the Champions League or nothing.........and then they don't last long.........thats only Rangers and Celtic.........most of the smaller clubs probably depend on a few crofters and their dogs to turn up.............only joking, but not much better.
