Midfielder back in W12 for the run-in ...

    • R's recall Gladwin from Bristol City
    • Midfielder set to feature in the run-in
    • 23-year-old eligible for Friday's clash against Middlesbrough in W12
QPR MIDFIELDER Ben Gladwin has been recalled from his loan spell at Bristol City.

The 23-year-old wide-man sustained a knee injury during his time at Ashton Gate, restricting him to just a solitary appearances for the Robins.

However, he has since returned to full-fitness and QPR boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is looking forward to welcoming him back into his squad for the run-in, commenting: "Ben wasn’t playing at Bristol City so it is better that he is here with us.

"We are heading into the last month or so of the campaign, and he is going to feature so that we can integrate him ahead of next season."

Bit early to be writing him off. Makes sense that he will get a chance to show what he can offer (or not of course).

Encouraging to read, makes sense to see what he can do until the end of the season

He's a talent, and I hope we can use him properly. Particularly with the expectation that 1 if not both of Phillips and Hoillett will leave next season.

As long as JFH doesn't use him, I'll be happy.

I'd expect all our league one signings to get more of a run out as the season limps to a close.

I think all the Swindon and Burton lads will show more of what they're capable of after an intensive pre-season. That said, two or three successes from them would be a good return.

Luongo is the front runner to succeed and probably Gladwin is the outside bet but there's still hope for all of them.

How supportive, you should be proud of your efforts. You'll be booing his every touch next time he plays then I assume? Wouldn't want him to gain any confidence now would we?

Thread title still gives the impression that Gladwin is Jimmy's gimp.
