    An error there in the BBC report. Russell Crowe does not own 50% of South Sydney Rugby league club and never has. His holding in the club has always been 37.5%. Currently the Aus billionaire James Packer also holds 37.5 % with the other 25% always being held by the Financial Members of the Club. I am one of these having been a member since 1969.

    Decisions controlled exclusively by the Membership include any name change proposal!

    Surely they would want the Emperor to run the club anyways and not a lowly Gladiator!
