Well with Van Der Saar retiring at the end of the season, Shay could become a red devil. that's if citeh are willing to give him up.

I remember getting some stick for saying that when he left us - I know it was a very different situation to now - because of his loyalty.

Bet he wishes he'd stayed too now!

 

I don't begrudge him leaving, I think he'd had enough of our poor defence - highlighted by the 5-1 drubbing at the hands of l'pool when it could easily have reached double figures. It's a shame he's warming the bench at citeh, even though in my opinion he's better than hart. Yet another example of man city wasting players.

 

Good luck to him, but I'm surprised a PL team haven't snapped him up. An absolutely class keeper.
