Just read a great report.............Craig Bellamy, Roque Santa Cruz, Shay Given, Wayne Bridge, Nedum Onouha and Michael Johnson told to report for training July 9th...................but no-one told these clowns that the 1st team had left for USA the previous day July 8th!!!!!!!!!

Now i know all of us would love to sit around on our arses for £4 million a year..........but it is funny.

That is because they are all on their way out. Michael Johnson had great prospect when younger but had piled on the weight and probably won't cut the mustard now. Pity.

Shays, unfortunately, joining the Dirty Villa.

At least he will be #1 there and show what a great keeper he is. Just a shame its playing for them fans.

he saved newcastle countless points and you's were very lucky to have him, not having a pop but when will people learn that money talks with every footballer. Remember Rooney? once a blue always a blue. Sky have changed the world of football and the people within it, give me the football in the 70s and 80s any day of the week even though both our teams were **** but players were in it for the sport and not the money. On a personal note i paid 70pence for my 1st game at Roker Park and got value for money, how times have changed eh?

Erm...where has this rant come from? I think people don't want Given to go to Villa because of the way their fans treated us when we went down...

What do you expect? They're from the Midlands, a place where inbreeding is as much a part of everyday life as eating, breathing and ****ting.

its not a rant trumpet it's fact, no footballer gives a toss anymore imo it's all about the money i.e. bent, carroll, given etc. the money they all make is obscene and they want more and more and more, ****s!

The thing is, if a tradesman (1) was getting x amount for doing a job and his mate (tradesman 2) at another company was getting x amount more for doing the same job, tradesman (1) would want a job at the other company.

It's not just about footballers, it's about all kinds of workers. I know footballers earn more than enough to get by on, but it's just a case of wanting equality.

I found him a bit leaden-footed TBH. He scored a good goal away at Chelsea, but at other times he looked a bit clumsy, which seemed strange. Jury out for me.
