I think thats the first time they have sat in the front row. I like Katharina, she seems to take a genuine pleasure in watching us play (as did her father).
You are right, there does seem to be quite a lot to like about our Katharina - far from being disinterested in her football club she seems to actually like us ! I was pleasantly surprised to see the stadium car park free period increased from 15 mins to 1 hour. Still pisses me off that we should have to pay at all to park there at all especially when going to away games, but it is a significant move in the right direction imo.
It was suggested on Sky that Roy must have a flat in Southampton. Can't blame him...not just England internationals there, but possibilities like Clyne, and the next generation (Chambers, JWP, Gallagher). Watching Saints must give the England manager a warm glow compared with watching other sides. Krueger has also talked about our public image, mentioning being supplier of England players. My guess is that Roy is treated pretty well. Don't remember what team it was, but he was said to be upset recently when he wasn't put in with the directors at one ground and was shoved in with the media boys for hospitality. He can't sit in that front seat next to Katharina though as that is reserved for her Dad's memory Nice to see her sat at the front...Krueger has also mentioned her affection for the club, which was even a surprise to her. Just need to reinforce her son's enthusiasm and we'll be safe for generations.
Roy gets a lift down with Wenger each time only Wenger has to watch our players train from behind a tree at Marchwood in the New Forest while Roy gets a seat up front at St Mary's with our Katharina
I heard he was invited to sit with the chairman but he likes his own space when watching our young boys.
Except that it would be all Southampton players by then and that would see a different style altogether.
