I have read with interest that some Bruce supporters are asking that we give him 3 games to save his job? Whats the point?

Does anyone really think he will get 6 points from 3 games against Stoke (H); Norwich (A) and WBA (H) in the next 3 weeks? What planet are those people on that think this this might happen. What Sunderland team are they watching that I am not?

We failed to beat a poor Mag team at home and we failed to beat a very, very poor Swansea team away. To cap it all, we lost to a team that was a 3rd division one last season in the cup in between. We have scored 2 goals in 5 games and conceded 5 and we have just lost our main striker this weekend for the rest of the season. Now he (Bruce) is supposed to play a confident and European competition playing Stoke City at home with a rejuvenated Peter Crouch (who will score against us BTW) fresh into a very strong, physical team play. Then we have a newly promoted side away on a Monday night on Sky and a rejuvenated WBA side that have already beaten us a few months ago very convincingly at home.

6 points? I'll eat my own weight in horse **** if we get 3. Its finished for Bruce. Get shot now and maybe a new man can get 6 points out of these games. Keep Bruce and the team will look as lost and clueless as it has done for the past 8 months and we will be bottom 3 by the Arsenal game and in that spiral of failure again.

Bruce supporters have got to bite the bullet here and realise its finished for him. To keep him only has long lasting damage connotations for us all.

Once a manager loses the fans and players his position becomes untenable.

The fact of the matter is we've been poor for the past 9 months, not performed in the past 3 derby games and there is no sign that anything will change, certainly unlikely to in the next 3 games.

    It's time for a change

Surely after the way we finished last season, this was his last chance, which he has screwed up. He's a dead man walking, and its got to be when not if.

As much as we all admire Quinn, surely he needs to be more ruthless. As for Short, it would appear he hasn't bakced him, so the writing is on the wall, surely?

Otherwise problems could have deeper roots. Who is to say certain people won't walk/sacked, while others might and others might decide to pull the plug altogether.
