For the stats lovers, because we have seen a lot of stats often used on this board for Giroud, so here is that stat, 10 games, 0 goals, donkey Giroud is back! That's basically been the story of Giroud at Arsenal, and why he will forever simply be an above average striker. He will go through a patch where he will score, and then some will laud how great and efficient he is, and start asking maybe we didnt need a striker after all? Until reality comes back and he goes game after game after game with no goals, and plays terribly bringing nothing to the team.
Yup its our biggest problem. Cant play a high line and attacking system with an average CF and expect to win the league. "A revealing stat on #Arsenal's major issue this season: They rank 1st in the PL for big chances created, but 19th for big chance conversion."
Giroud is only good as back up, every time he has a long run in the side with no competition, he turns to ****, but when he does have a competition, loses his place, and has to come on as a sub, that's when he usually does good. We will never become a top dominant side with Giroud as our main striker, that's just a fact of life proven by the last 4 years.
