    RIP. he was a regular on tv over here providing expert commentary and post match analysis. Billed as the Italian star from Lazio ..... Compared to the yanks alongside him, he was so much more in tune with the game .... And he's the only "Italian" to speak with a very thick, authentic Swansea accent - had it all - the cadence, the figures of speech, as if he had never left the Hafod.

    I just came across this article on Giorgio,which gives some real insight into the life of the young lad who initially plied his trade at The Vetch Field.
