Men Not been on for a while and wont be either...new job and first baby en route in less than eight weeks, so busy as ****, but I just wanted us all to recognise something. We rip it up on here, spurs are **** (yes), Utd are c@nts (yes), Scousers winge (yes)... But it's all bollocks. Ginge was a regular here since it started, and on the BBC for years... He is a man of 65 who was looking to go to Munich and watch the match in the beer gardens and enjoy it, then come home and either lick his wounds or bask in the glory of us winning. The night before the final his wife passed away, and since Drogs let me know I've not known what to do on here. The answer for me is nothing, but seeing some of what's been going on across the site it seems fitting that we should acknowledge it. Goodnight Mrs Ginge, and even though I never knew you, I'm thinking of you and Ginger Marks as well. Long live the berks.
Banter, abuse and all that kicking ten bags of verbal **** out of each other aside...and ive had many of them moments with Ginge. its never nice to lose a loved one....and from one man to another. sorry for the loss and hope you find strength.
Ginge is a top man and i've always had time for him,i'm sorry to hear of his bad news and sad loss and send my sincere condolences to him and his family.
Terrible news, very sorry indeed for your loss Ginge, hope some happiness comes your way in the near future, to compensate for the sadness that has no doubt overwhelmed you just now.
I had become curious about Ginge's absence,so this comes as a terrible shock! Although I dont know him personally.. its through the contacts on these pages , you feel after a time you know all the contributors well! God rest her soul and hope the pain gets easier in time!
Not been here that long but he's a top bloke. This is terrible news and just puts everything into perspective doesn't it? God bless Ginge and may his wife rest in peace. You never know what's around the corner. I hope he can come to terms with this awful news and I do hope he's back on here very soon.
By the way 5W6, good luck with the new job and baby. Seeing that first smile, first words & first steps, there's nothing like it mate!
Hadn't seen this until now.... what terrible news and my thoughts are with Ginge. RIP Mrs Ginge. May you look down on Chelsea and bask in what she has done for you.
I was on holiday as this was posted so only just saw now but suddenly a huge lump in my throat. Just like to pass on my condolences, really sorry to hear this he is a top bloke and I've also known him from the Old 606 days. Really puts things in perspective
Had my differences with him, but sincerest condolances. This goes beyond tribal rivalry and I wish him all the best in the future.
I don't post on other boards much(LFC fan) but know Ginger from when he's been on ours. Sincere condolences on the sad news. At times like this words aren't much use, but they're all we have. RIP
