I love gin and have seen plastered everywhere about joining a gin club. They all appear to be £40 a month as well.

Is it worth it? You get a bottle of gin which is not in big supply and then bits and pieces.

Or do I just order random gins online and save a tenner?

I've never tried gin? What's the attraction aside from the alcohol content?

It has such a lovely gentle taste. I prefer to drink a good quality gin neat and the cheaper the gin the better quality the tonic water has to be.

I'm a big real ale drinker but sadly my belly is getting bigger and bigger so cutting down on the real ale and upping my intake of gin.

I might give it a go. The trouble with me though is if I buy a bottle of anything it usually doesn't last longer than one night

I used to be the same! Was always told that you are not allowed to leave a bottle of wine unopened!

    Maybe it is.

But then again lager was invented for women who couldn't take ale

I'm sure it is something I read many a year ago. Never really like lager until I went to Belgium.

I only tend to drink lager or cider these days. Bottled Becks preferably.
    Spirits are off limits.

Getting back to Gin, if you're up this way anytime, try a Gin Cruise down the Tyne.
Or a bit further south, The Evil Eye Gin House in York....

Hmmm.... a gin cruise! Sounds ideal.

Bottled lager/ale is 1000000000% better than canned!

Not touched a drop of bourbon since drinking a whole bottle of Jim Beam watching The Green Mile.

Starting to like gin myself like. It’s a pain in the arse trying to order it nowadays like, you can’t just gaan to the bar and order a gin and tonic...ohhhhh no! There’s like 50 different ones to chose from and about 75 different tonics to pick from as well! You’ve gotta be a ****ing alchemist to gaan out these days!
