I think this tie is due to be played on Tuesday 28th August, when I am due to work. So I would prefer if they rearranged this fixture for the day before on the bank holiday Monday 27th Aug. Anyone know what the chances are of that happening, considering also the distance the Boro fans will have to travel?
Don't know if games can really be arranged because of distances :L hopefully it is though as it would make it much easier for me to get there!
i doubt you'll miss much brb- probably a dull 5-4 with a last minute penalty save and lass gasp winner.
Middlesbrough are away at Millwall 3 days before the game against Gillingham! Expect the 'boro players will stay south!
Plausable win if we keep playing as we have been, lets not forget Bristol is the second Championship team we have upset if we include Charlton in pre-season. Still don't want to see the team getting into any long term campaigns and possibly jepordise the league but what kind of supporter would not love to see his team win!
I still find MA's style of press releases pretty refreshing... he's not exactly telling us anything softly. http://www.gillinghamfootballclub.com/news/article/boro-reaction-315186.aspx?
I am happy with the draw, as long as we mainly focus on the league that will be OK. I find it funny that we have Middlesbrough as my mate is a fan of them so I can wind him up when we beat them!
Would had preferred it at 'Boro as I could have seen it then, but I will always have my season ticket in the Teletext stand
I admire MA 's honesty - but I'm not sure if he will endear himself to the chairman - who, I am sure will be hoping for a win followed by a more lucrative draw in the next round. I would expect Mr.Scally to insist on maximum effort against Boro.
