Danny Jackman With Paulo Gazzaniga picking up Young Player of the Year. Well deserved to both of them
Thought he would be and good to see Gazza get something, where are the full results of this as I have just been looking.
Very well deserved by both. I'm sure Essam must have run Gazza close. Funny how it's gone to 2 players who received (too) much critism before the start of the season. Gazza even before he had kick a ball.
I am surprised that Kedwell was 2nd, did not think he would be in the top 3 and I thought Whelpdale and Lee would be up there, good to see Gazzaniga get 2 awards, was not sure if he would get any, have to say he has deserved it for his great performances. Good to see Payne get an award aswell and with no surprise Whelpdale get something with goal of the season, that was a special goal so I am happy with that. Good night for Jackman as he done well on the awards front, this has been such a good season for him, if you go back 12 months ago many were saying what was the point of him at the club, he was transfer listed at the start of the season and was not playing well up to this season and when he did come into the team and play well many wondered if that was just a good spell but he has been class all season and it is so good to see him get the awards, just hope he signs up for next season.
Glad that Jackman got the POY as he deserves it. Equally pleased that Keds was second although surprised as he hasn't really had a good season despite finishing top scorer.
