Remember seeing him play against us, seemed a decent player, held the ball well and his distribution was good as I remember it.

Good to see some action finally!

Stats not that inspireing played a lot of reserve games, no goals, I was sat next to you (Mr Throwoff) I expect but don't really remember him but then again I can't always see the players if they are a way off and have to ask who everyone is!

Just had a look back through the archives to see if I have wrote anything on this player - found nothing!

We played Accrington at home on the 23rd March 2013, a game we won 1-0 and when Matt Fish scored his wonder goal. It appears Linganzi featured for the entire 90 minutes in the number 27 shirt. Just cannot remember him.

Might have to go search out the Gills Player archives.

Good age, only 22 (what will brb think?) played in both the Premier League and French Ligue 1. I wasn't at the accrington match but I remember reading a lot of people saying I hope we sign this fella. Also apparently has an International Cap for Congo. Been a while since we had an international in Gills colours.

From my seat in the GRS he looked really good against us in the second half - really strong and powerful with a good touch. A lot of other supporters in the same block were impressed too - a good signing.

Interesting. Really don't remember him. I thought this joey gritt lad was our 1st signing. Or is he just for our development squad?

dont remember gritt being announced offically.

this kid sounds like hes got talent but one big injury (that he has recovered from) stopped a promising start to a career. good pedigree so worth a chance i'd say

could be a good signing as long as he is not injury prone.

I don't know too much about him but I had heard of him and do remember him playing against us and do remember a bit that he played well but from what I have been reading he sounds like a good signing.
One thing to add I have read that he did have injury problems at Blackburn and that is partly why he left them however hopefully he is past them now.

Sounds a top signing to me.
Plenty of people who went to the Accy game reckon he was head & shoulders above everyone else on the field (literally and playing-wise).

And on the Accy forums they are gutted he's left them. Comments on there that he is way too good for L2, and probably bound for the Championship again.

    Hopefully with us :)

And at 22 with a 2 year deal, if he does come good, can only be a good thing.

Wonder how much we paid? Or was he a free agent?

I believe he was a free agent and he is 23.

This looks a shrewd signing. For me, central midfield was our area of weakness during the 2nd half of last season, so it's good that we have already strengthened.

For me getting a pacey forward is the next priority... hopefully that will materialise in the form of Cody...

I doubt that Amine is costing a great deal in wages but I also wonder if the Cody deal is dependent on jack Payne and Charlie Lee leaving to free up more money
