Geographically it looks like we've had some bad luck - only the fixture between Plymouth v Orient goes anywhere near in terms of travelling for a night midweek game. It could prove a bit of a useful test - if Yeovil use their Championship experience.
On paper it looks like we have a fairly difficult first couple of months with the league fixtures. 7 of the 10 games are against teams that I would expect fancy themselves as top 6 potential.
Here is today's released fixture list, I will discuss my thoughts in more detail later to how they affect the games i will attend; http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/gillingham/fixtures League One August 2014 MK Dons v Gillingham Sat 9 Aug 15:00 League Cup - First Round - Yeovil v Gillingham Tue 12 Aug 19:45 Gillingham v Yeovil Sat 16 Aug 15:00 Gillingham v Swindon Tue 19 Aug 19:45 Barnsley v Gillingham Sat 23 Aug 15:00 Gillingham v Crewe Sat 30 Aug 15:00 September 2014 Coventry v Gillingham Sat 6 Sep 15:00 Oldham v Gillingham Sat 13 Sep 15:00 Gillingham v Peterborough Tue 16 Sep 19:45 Gillingham v Walsall Sat 20 Sep 15:00 Sheff Utd v Gillingham Sat 27 Sep 15:00 October 2014 Notts County v Gillingham Sat 4 Oct 15:00 Gillingham v Scunthorpe Sat 11 Oct 15:00 Rochdale v Gillingham Sat 18 Oct 15:00 Gillingham v Preston Tue 21 Oct 19:45 Gillingham v Crawley Sat 25 Oct 15:00 November 2014 Fleetwood v Gillingham Sat 1 Nov 15:00 Gillingham v Leyton Orient Sat 15 Nov 15:00 Bradford v Gillingham Sat 22 Nov 15:00 Gillingham v Port Vale Sat 29 Nov 15:00 December 2014 Doncaster v Gillingham Sat 13 Dec 15:00 Gillingham v Chesterfield Sat 20 Dec 15:00 Colchester v Gillingham Fri 26 Dec 15:00 Gillingham v Bristol City Sun 28 Dec 15:00 January 2015 Port Vale v Gillingham Sat 3 Jan 15:00 Crewe v Gillingham Sat 10 Jan 15:00 Gillingham v Coventry Sat 17 Jan 15:00 Gillingham v Oldham Sat 24 Jan 15:00 Walsall v Gillingham Sat 31 Jan 15:00 February 2015 Gillingham v Sheff Utd Sat 7 Feb 15:00 Peterborough v Gillingham Tue 10 Feb 19:45 Gillingham v MK Dons Sat 14 Feb 15:00 Yeovil v Gillingham Sat 21 Feb 15:00 Gillingham v Barnsley Sat 28 Feb 15:00 March 2015 Swindon v Gillingham Tue 3 Mar 19:45 Gillingham v Doncaster Sat 7 Mar 15:00 Bristol City v Gillingham Sat 14 Mar 15:00 Chesterfield v Gillingham Tue 17 Mar 19:45 Gillingham v Colchester Sat 21 Mar 15:00 Crawley v Gillingham Sat 28 Mar 15:00 April 2015 Gillingham v Fleetwood Sat 4 Apr 15:00 Leyton Orient v Gillingham Mon 6 Apr 15:00 Gillingham v Bradford Sat 11 Apr 15:00 Preston v Gillingham Tue 14 Apr 19:45 Gillingham v Rochdale Sat 18 Apr 15:00 Scunthorpe v Gillingham Sat 25 Apr 15:00 May 2015 Gillingham v Notts County Sat 2 May 15:00 Apologies if there is any errors.
Doncaster Rovers with a certain Paul Dickov at the helm, wondering what sort of reception he will get technically he was only doing his job so gotta be the Ref's fault
