Hello Everyone,

People that have proxy multiple accounts or use a web defence to hide their identity, risk being banned (regardless of nature of posted comment), especially if I feel their accounts are being linked in the aim of disrupting our board.

A completely separate issue and reminder, that newbies are not allowed to post links to our board, this is to protect you the user.

It is impossible for me to sometimes gauge whether a link is being used innocently, for spamming purposes, or if they contain viruses. Therefore the only option I will take with newbies is to refuse there posting.

Finally nature of comment, should not be deemed as reason for removal or banning orders, nor does it mean that I might/might not have deemed it as offensive, other factors will have been taken in to consideration, which you require me as a voluntary mod to make decisions on.

I notice that the Gillingham official website is down at the moment. Therefore we welcome their members, as with varied Gills sites, please respect our community accordingly.

brb- don't you know we're on our summer holidays & according to BSG it's ' silly season ' - I've done my best to oblige if you read that thread ( & Frank Nouble .)( poor Hoadie - nearly felt sorry that the thread got a little sabotaged )
I'm sure that normal services will be resumed on a cold Tuesday night away at Fleetwood
 
Absolute no problem with a bit of fun. The silly season thread is there for a reason. People automatically define the rules and boundaries within our community by their own contribution and regular participation in it. I will not allow the rules to be defined by people that just turn up every couple of months to tell us how we should run the board.

brb - I promise not to mention our unfortunate bovine friend again! As a voluntary moderator you do have to make judgement calls from time to time on certain comments. To be fair it is extremely rare that you delete any postings and as the Not606 slogan states you do allow members to "Comment-Debate-Create-Freely".
