Gills picked up some good results against Sunderland last season with 2 draws and 2 wins in all competitions - Can we continue that good form on Saturday?

Ok, for this let's focus on the top five clubs in the league and how we have faired...

    Hull lost 0-2
    Portsmouth lost 0-2
    Ipswich lost 0-1

Ok, ok, I'm being harsh, let's focus a little further down...

    Fleetwood lost 0-2

Oh, can we go a bit further down the table, what about a team in current 17th place...

    MK Dons lost 0-2

I would feel like a traitor if I scored points when the team didn't.

You've got no chance - all the time Resurgam predicts a 3-1 win for The Gills....... oh - did you mean Gills trying to be bottom of the table ?

I'm not sure if I want Sunderland to win ---- It might be less painful than reading all the 'bleedin hearts' from their fans.... Last season, the forum was full of the Sunderland fans moaning that Gills were guilty of time-wasting... I pointed out, that in the 4 games we played against them, they failed to win, or score in 6 hours of football - and asked just how MUCH time did they want to change that statistic.

Since November last year, we have had 4 games all close. We have through what the gaffer has said going through some bad injuries depleting the team. Bonham going off Tuesday did,nt help, and young Walshy making a big phoopa as soon as he came on BUT redeemed himself as the match went on.
4 defeats without a reply is not a good sign and not looked like scoring apart from hitting the post against Ipswich.
The black cats themselves have had a couple of bad games on the back of 9 undefeated games. Weather forecast Windy and rain, we don't seem to handle the slippery surface.
Could be a boring draw or an exciting goal-fest. QPR shot-stopper Lumley filling a very important post on loan.
But sadly I feel yet another defeat until we get senior players back in the mix.
Based on no goals in 4 games

There is a distinct possibility that we'll be goalless until December ........ unless we can overcome Woking --- I wouldn't mind being wrong -- and I certainly don't want to be 'bumping up' this post in a month's time.

4 games without a goal... it's got to change some time, but I think the win will be beyond us
