After leading this competition from day 1 last year, only to finish in the top 3. My position after 19 games is the same as our beloved MKB 2nd from bottom and only 4 points. I hate the thought of me ending up in a pile of compost and being relegated. I like many here have been a supporter for well over 50 years and have seen many ups and downs. But never as bad as this. I was back in blighty ( Chatham ) four years ago for a family birthday and stayed at the Bridgewood Manor for a long weekend. Salford having traveled first to the training ground on Friday morning, arrived at the Bridgewood Friday afternoon. They had breakfast Saturday morning ( Where I was privileged to join them ) Left at lunchtime to play Ebbsfleet and go straight home after the match. Tight budget. They do have a bit of backing from ex-Man Utd players Gary Neville stood down a month ago to leave Nicky Butt in charge. They have shipped 7 goals in 3 games. And lost 3 out of their last 4 league games. We have a home advantage for what it's worth. And I still feel we are good enough to get out of this division, If the players played to their potential. heart and head again MKB 2 v 1 Man Utd 2nd team ( Kashket, Harriot and Hendry )
