    Team News
Posted as soon as there is some

    Past meetings
We are unbeaten in our last 5 meetings. WE have also won all our meetings against Plymouth at home dating back to 1995 which is a total of 6 meetings. Our record over the last 8 years is very good but we drew the last game 2-2 at Plymouth.

    15 Jan 2005 Gillingham v Plymouth Argyle W 1-0 League Championship
    11 Aug 2009 Gillingham v Plymouth Argyle W 2-1 Carling Cup
    20 Aug 2011 Gillingham v Plymouth Argyle W 3-0 League Two
    03 Mar 2012 Plymouth Argyle v Gillingham W 0-1 League Two
    10 Nov 2012 Plymouth Argyle v Gillingham D 2-2 League Two

Our record at home is good so we should win this one, but you never know as this is a potential banana skin.

    Current league table
As of 07.03.13 Gillingham sit top of League 2 on 66 points after 35 games and are 2 points ahead of Port Vale who sit second after 36 games.
Plymouth sit 23rd after 35 games on 36 points.

    HOADIE’S View on this match
I think this could be a banana skin of a game but then again we are not good at home, I have a feeling that this game will go one way or another and that is that we will win by a good margin or we will lose. I think the first of them will be the outcome.

    The score line and scorers
I think the score will be 3-0 to the Gills with Kedwell, Robinson and Dack getting the goals.

The team will be a bit different, I think it will be.

    Nelson

    Fish
    Legge
    Barrett
    Martin

    Gregory

    Whelpdale
    Robinson
    Weston

    Burton
    Kedwell

However I would play this team if Weston is fit.

    Nelson

    Fish
    Legge
    Barrett
    Martin

    Gregory

    Whelpdale
    Robinson
    Weston

    Dack

    Kedwell

That is a formation of 4-1-3-1-1 with Dack as an inside forward behind Kedwell.

    East
    Legge
    Barrett
    Martin

    Gregory

    Whelpdale
    Lee

    Dack

    German

I thought that was why we had East. Fish is injured or am I wrong?

good performance today with German and Dack brillant. Lets hope we can carry on winning at home as we have some tough away matches starting with exeter away on tuesday.
The crowd was so big as free tickets were given to schools.
ps i think i may of been a little harsh on German after the last home game.

Only just got home from the game. I was going to add a comment but I will try and write a match report later if I get time. It is the least the lads deserve.

Huge improvement. There was more attacking from Gills in the first 45 mins than in the previous 4.5 months. However, the various substitutions really did weaken the team and we ended up having a nervous last 15 mins when a meaner ref could have given at least one penalty to Plymouth.
There was much good news though. Dack had a tremendous hour before he ran out of steam. Kedwell gave a masterclass in linking the midfield with the attack. German had some good moments but only managed one out of three gilt edged chances. The midfield still looks unconvincing but as a unit they played much further upfield which provided much more attacking momentum than we have seen for a long time.
Much better overall and the other teams seem to be trying to hand the trophy to the Gills.
