Hello and welcome to the all new and improved Match day Hub which is now the official place for Gillingham fans, I decided to update this so that you will know where to go and chat before and during the game. This is here to replace the match day thread and the Starting Line up Prediction, this is where you will now be able to post all your team predictions and score updates. You can now just spend your match day in one place if you are not at the game. This is the thread for the upcoming game, I always post this thread before each game so that you can express your views on the corresponding fixture and can talk between each other during the game, You can post your team predictions before the game, you may include the starting 11 plus the subs which you think will be in the team, no points awarded for your predictions it is just for fun, it allows you to start a healthy debate between each other about the team which we will play or what it should be. If you wish you can post updates freely about the game and chat between yourselves, you are also free to talk about other games bizarre or not. This is open to both Gillingham fans and also the opposition After the match I will allow you all to create a summary on this thread and I will also provide extra details on the game if they are required or if I want to point anything out. You can talk about what was good about the game and what could have been better. During the game I will update the score and the team sheets as soon as they are available, also at the end I will add the table to this thread as it stands. This is here permanently so you will not see the Match day thread or the starting line up prediction threads as this is them combined.
In my last two visits to Priestfield I have seen a 0-0 (v. Bradford back in November) and a 4-3 (v. Dons in January) so I am a bit curious as to what the score on Saturday is going to be. Just hope it is a win for the Gills and if he plays a goal (or two) for Keds
It's that time again - time to guess what we will put out. I would LIKE to see the following:- Gazzaniga Evans Essam King Jackman Whelpdale Payne Spiller Obita Kuffour Kedwell SUBS Hawkes Frampton Spiller Miller Vine But I think it's safe to say we won't see anything like that.
Tom, bearing in mind injuries I would probably go with that same selection, accept you have included Spiller to start and on the bench
I just hope that Fish don't play and also Frampton is dropped, would be good to see Kedwell back in the team.
A good start to the weekend, Cheltenham got smashed tonight 4-0. So now over to Hessy to take the advantage.
Good result but also puts our one shining performance of late into perspective. Given chelts ongoing shocking form Maybe crewe are now favourites. And They may slip up too. Optimistic? No. Whilst I think 5 wins may be enough I don't this team under this manager will achieve that. I think crewe and chelts will drop enough points but so will we. Attendance guess? 3867
That's a bit optomistic - Macclesfield brought only 65 last season ! With a season full of ' if only' - the latest ones being - if only the referee at Bradford wasn't a clot (NSFW) & if only we could have got one point @ Burton, we would be on 61 points and catching up Cheltenham etc
Oxford have lost, Crewe drawn. Crawley Drawn. Anything could still happen. Also draws for Swindon and Shrewsbury
Well everyone else seems to be trying to help us and Fish has proved that he's not a total 'pilchard'....... we have been 'whiting' for a decent performance from him though. I just hope that this won't be his 'sole' goal for us.....
