NB: Please predict what you think the score will be at the end of 'normal play'. So if you think that the game will be decided in 90 minutes, predict what you think the score will be at that point, if you think it will be decided in extra-time, please predict what you think the score will be after 120 minutes. If the game does go to extra time, then I will use the score at the end of this period as the score for the prediction league, regardless of what the score was at the end of 90 minutes, or what happens in any penalty shootout.
Gills 1 (Walker) Dagenham 1 (At full time 90 minutes and still 1-1 after extra time. Penalties Gills to go through......
I wonder if the pitch will be frozen tonight ! I do hope the ground staff took time off from adjusting the water sprinklers - and put matting down overnight ?..... or will we see the Gills players prancing like Bambi on ice -- oh, hang on, will I notice a difference - perhaps they're playing as if their balls are permanently frozen..... .... AND -if you watched Stockport's performance, last night v Charlton, you might not relish the (next) nightmare before Christmas.
Hopefully, this goes ahead. seen the weather forecast for the UK and it looks bleddy cold. So Scally gets rid of Shorey and takes on his own man.??????? He has been seen at recent matches. ????????? I KNOW whats happening and YOU ARE ALLLLL WRONG. Mr Scally is a very decent and very clever man. He has been watching YOUTUBE. You know the site that has everything on it. AND he is going to take over as the manager. And give himself a big budget to work with. We will be bailed out of the **** we are in and go up as champions. He will oversee a new manager and we will go up in the playoffs to the championship and THEN, He will sell. Oppss just realised what I was here for. My prediction for tonight. I shall watch it, not sure why, BUT we could be the first team in history to win the League Cup, FA Cup, and the Carabao Cup in the same season and get relegated to the **** pits of English Football. I am ashamed of the display from the gutless so-called professional players we have. Saturday was yet another aimless display. This is not about what is going on around them. It is the spineless attitude they have and discontent they have for the loyal supporters who turn up to watch this abysmal SH*%E However we are at home again and I am sure we will muster at least 30 or 40 supporters, wrapped up in woolly coats, hats, gloves, and flasks filled with mulled wine to warm their cockles. In one game we will see the rocket put up the proverbial rear and get a display deserved by the loyals who turn up thick or thin. Week in week out. PoorKentBlues 2 v 0 Daggers 0 ( kasket and Mandron, if he plays )
Well, I actually got to watch the match live here in SW France and the first game I've been able to see this season. I thought that after a nervous start where Dagenham scored the Gills actually settled down and scored via their leading scorer (I believe) Baggott. Taking the lead by a very well taken goal by Max Ehmer....who shortly after performed a huge schoolboy error of a back pass for the scores to be levelled. 95 minutes, a break away goal utilising the whole length of the pitch and just two players. Excellent break away and pass to Kashket who returned the favour to the on running Adelakum who took a slight touch before powering into the net. A well worked goal....and from open play. Yes, they only had 10 players at the end but from what I saw tonight, if that team can/could be knitted together and be motivated they should survive this season. Not what we'd like but better than falling out of the league. I was expecting a pile of poo but the pile wasn't as bad as I'd been anticipating.
