Blackpool an interesting one - Started the season well with the only glitch second game in at home to Portsmouth, when they lost 1-2. But we all know now Portsmouth along with Sunderland are looking the most likely to clean up in this league. However, it appears the visitors EFL Cup run has done them no favours, or certainly not on Saturday when they got tanked 0-3 at home by Bristol Rovers. Blackpool's league away record is not pretty but there does seem to be quite a number of draws. Can we make it three wins out of three and add to our recent huge goal tally without reply; Gills 3-0 Blackpool (Eaves, Hanlan, RCC)
dodgy one this but we have scored 10 goals in 3 games and only conceded 3 but those 3 were in one game Don't know what has happened the past couple of weeks but you have to hope it keeps working and because of that Gills 3 v 1 pool ( Nottingham. Eaves, Hanlan and List )
A pity as it sounded like an evening of missed opportunities with a smash and grab raid by Blackpool right at the start of the second half. Onwards and upwards....we're going in the right direction....slowly.
