Please predict what you think the score will be at the end of 'normal time' - Whether that is at 90 minutes or after 120 minutes. If the tie goes to extra time, then the score for the prediction league will be the score at the end of extra time. Any potential penalty shootout will have no impact on the prediction league.
Not sure if Steve Bruce will be down for the game or not, after the loss of his grandson, thoughts with him at this difficult time. Blackpool have not faired well in the absence of their manager, they lost to Barnsley 1-2 at home, then followed that by getting thrashed by Peterborough (5-1) away from home - their more recent game at home against Wigan saw them go 0-2 down in the first half, eventually coming back to finish 2-2 with the aid of two own goals lol. Knowing our luck with the toss - we'll call ''tails'' Shame that the FA Cup won't have replays - losing a bit more of the 'magic-of-the-cup.' ..I suppose that some people will like the drama of penalties - but - surely 22 professional footballers can score over 120 minutes to settle a game before that lottery of penalties ? - what happens if nobody can score from 12 yards ?..........just in case that happens, I've donated a tw0-headed coin to the referee....... to decide the winner of the game !
Thought we were very poor last week against 10 men. Not boding well for today. We don't have a good record against Pool even though they are not far above us and in a poor run of form themselves. First round FA Cup not a good record for us. Looking at the stats from Div 1 which was the last time we met we won 3 lost and drew 1. 19 goals scored in those 5 games. Well, goals won't be a problem as we can't score. But they have scored in all but 2 games this season. I am putting extra beers in the fridge for today as I can see this going to be a 0-0 game to the end. Blackpool on Pens
