Our game in hand, at last, win this and there will be daylight between us and the relegation zone.
Recent form over the last 6 games:-

Gillingham 10points with a plus 5 goal difference, this puts us in 7th place.

Blackpool 8 points with a minus 1 goal difference, leaving them in 14th place.

I can't remember when we were favourites to win, makes this game even more of a worry.

Dear grumpygit, I hate (( it's the word of the day )), to give you greater cause to worry - but -
In your 'positivity' you didn't mention the consequences of defeat to Blackpool. Such a result, on it's own, will be bad enough - but will be compounded by the fact that it would leave us only 3 points above the drop zone ( as we currently are.) -- and we have to visit Oxford and Bristol Rovers later this month - two of the teams below us, who could go above us if we lose those games. It emphasises the importance of 3 points from tonight's match.

I also didn't mention that after our win tonight and the victories against Oxford and Bristol Rovers we will be on 27 points from 19 games and half way to safety.
