With our membership ever continuing to increase, I thought I would further promote what we have to offer for Gillingham fans...

At not606 we offer ALL Gillingham fans the opportunity unlike most other sites to get their views promoted to articles. Do you have something you wish to share about our club? Then write a thread on the Gillingham not606 board, all I ask is please check your grammar and do not make stuff up or steal content from other sites. Then we can get it promoted to an article for you. Sending it out to a bigger audience to reach more likewise Gills fans via avenues such as newsnow and twitter. If there is something of particular interest to you, then send me a PM to highlight it to my attention, your thread for promoting.

We may like to share banter but we also bring you the latest news as it happens. With like minded Gillingham fans posting the latest updates via our club board as they hear and find them. We do not allow the posting of abuse but we also do not take ourselves to seriously. Basically the same as if you were to meet one another outside our virtual world, you would discuss the interests of our club but also done with a sense of humour, while respecting every individuals space. Some of us do arrange meet ups on match day, also it would be rude of me not to mention the Northern Elite.

Also on not606 you can find the England forum for Euro 2012...http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/150969-Sweden-v-England-Euro2012-Match-Thread as another part of our activities during pre season, although be warned if you venture into that section, that opinion is more 'freely debated' although to a lesser extent than GC. However, we do aim to offer something for all.

So come on Gillingham fans, get promoting 'THE RAINHAM END' for the Gillingham board on not606.

Finally just a reminder for the prediction league in 2012/13 can I ask all members to check their notifications to accept the group membership and help me prepare in readiness for the new season. 25 members have already resigned up via the group...http://www.not606.com/group.php?groupid=147 Also if you are a new member that wishes to take part, send me a PM and I will in due course send you an invite to accept (via notifications/very top right of board, next to your user name). We had 50 members last season, which was a record in its third season of running, so for our centenary in the name of Gillingham FC let us make it the biggest yet.

Your views/opinions/ideas are welcome, help me run the board how you want it run...

There are like minded and very genuine Gillingham supporters on the O/S. Like all social media sites some personalities may clash and some are no more than a very small minority that wish to insult members constantly.

I hope I have demonstrated over time, that I have the tools available to me to deal with those that choose to disrupt our board, instantly.

I will as always attempt to the best of my judgement to deal with situations open and fair minded. However, I am able too, unlike the O/S to deal with situations very quickly. It takes me a matter of seconds to remove a post and a matter of minutes to arrange to get an account banned. If I get it wrong, members will not hasten to tell me and I can correct any errors on my part just as swiftly.

Fears are felt through all social media sites, it is how we deal with them solely on this board that our reputation will be judged on.
 
Exhausted! Stressy! Just spent hours getting registered. Never read the instructions see and those weird letters you have to enter are beyond me. How do I get stars? Had 4 on the official board. Can I bring them with me?

Busy day today being Fathers day and all that. So any questions post them on here and I will get back to you. As for stars, it is a reputation system on here, so if people like or dislike your post, they can do so via the star symbol at the bottom of each post, this will increase the green pins above your avatar for positive results. As for fellow O/S posters, well Mark has already introduced himself and others could be under a different user name. Up to them if they want to make themself known.

Sorry about the registration process but the site owner has probably had to tighten things up over time. As for the letters you have to enter to register for any guests looking in, you can reselect another set of letters if the one's given are to difficult to read.

Blue, you didn't mention the 'Snakepit' <ok> it is basically a free for all forum where you can say whatever you wish..... the only rule is 'what's said in General Chat Forum' stays in General Chat Forum.
