So what is new? 1-0 down to 4th Division opposition who have according to Radio Bristol commentary seemed the more progressive team with more possession, more attempts on goal and now on half time with a goal! Will we please all revise our optimistic dreams for this season. It's going to be 9 months of total struggle!!!
Ho hum. Nothing changes. Look at the line up - what did you expect, it hasn't really changed from last season. Unless we get some more decent signings in we will be struggling again this season.
but look at it this way, if we lose this could cause drastic action for mciness to start buying players.
We could have Alex Ferguson or Arsene Wenger but the manager is not the problem. It's the bloody average playing staff he has inherited and unless SL is willing to spend megabucks to pay up contracts, then progress in replacing them will be slow. More struggle in view?
What is it with this bastard cup, we just can't seem to crack it... As for the comments on this thread, just stop and think a minute chaps. I see that there are quite a few "guests" on line reading this and what, just what if one or more happen to be transfer targets and they are reading this negative crap (some of it tongue in cheek). Thats really going to help isn't it... We will NOT struggle this year, it is just something about this bollox competition....
I hope you are right Prem. Let's see what happens at Forest though shall we. This is how we defended until we got Amougou into the team last season. No great surprise really and unless we replace him we can expect more of the same I fear....
2-0 says it all! We can't beat a division 4 team yet again! These so called 'professionals' of ours should give up their wages to charity this week! Glad I didn't waste a tenner plus the bridge toll to go. My only regret is renewing my season ticket when I'm supposed to be saving for my wedding! I know other Championship teams are struggling tonight but **** me you ought to be shot for losing to lesser opposition! They're in League Two for a ****ing reason!
I'm laughing CJS so laugh away. I can just picture the players already going through the motions, consigned to defeat against a club in disarray given their recent court case and change of manager. I bet not one of them (maybe Stead) has tried to pick the game up by its bollocks and tried to force the issue.
