Was hoping for a bit more so far, Bit sad with how we have been in the second half, I think Kedwell will show his goods in the coming month, it will take time.
only on for a few mins what is it all about Rooney was a bit of a loose cannon last season cant believe he came on for a goal scorer
Luke Rooney is a dick, sent off, why? why did he have to go off, not good for our first game, are you at the game.
Back home now, great to get underway with a win, but looked a bit dead in the second half, but it is the first game a win and that is good enough.
Hoadie, for someone who said they wouldn't be posting a lot because of the game, you sure posted a lot during the game. Gillingham grinded out that result. Montrose and Lee were ineffective, Whelpdale didn't see enough of the ball, and Kedwell didn't really look like scoring. Fuller was exposed a few times too. However, Frampton was commanding, Martin kept them quiet on our left, and Payne as a lot of energy as usual. Spiller was very effective too. And Flitney wasn't dodgy. One cross which he had a problem with and that was it, although he wasn't really tested. Rooney might have been a bit unfortunate to get a straight red, but when you lead with 2 feet, you're asking for trouble.
I posted quiet a bit when I got back, some of it I had saved on the phone, the basic thread bases I had on a notebook document on the HTC so I only had to input that bit but when the game got dull I posted a bit but now I am back there will be no stopping me.
