    Head to Head

The two clubs have met a total of 64 times (54 in the league and 10 in cup competitions)
Bristol City have the upper hand with 27 wins against Gillingham's 22 with 15 draws.

We have won 5 out of the ten matches played in cup competition
Gillingham have won 4 and there has been one draw.

City's Biggest win came a few seasons ago, a 6-0 win in 2006
Biggest loss was in 1952 a 5-0 thumping
Most goals in a game came in 1927 a 9-4 win for City

    ''Interesting'' facts

This will be our 3rd meeting in the league cup
All 3 meetings have been first round ties
The previous 2 league cup meeting City have lost
City have been very poor in cup competitions, you will have to travel back to August 2009 for City's last win in any cup competition
Gillingham have reached the fourth round once back in 1964
Bristol City have reached the semi final of this competition twice in 1971 and 1989

The game preview came be found HERE Thanks to Wizered where you can find betting odds, form guide and much more.

Brentford away. I was there! Can't believe it either. ****ing joke really. Remember when we lost to man city 2-1 at AG. McIndoe scored that last minute back heel only for it to be offside. We matched them that night. What happened to those days!

Not worried if we play with or without wingers many clubs don't use them it all comes down to if we play well with whoever is on the pitch Might be either 4-1-3-1-1 or 4-2-3-1 but what ever we play as long as it is a good game.

    JET's a winger, isn't he?

However, as has been said, winger, no winger, it doesn't matter. It's all about fluidity, being able to play in any position, in any shape, in any given moment. And I think there were signs on Saturday that we were doing (or trying) that. And O'Driscoll's buying of players like Wynter emphasise that ambition.

    Exciting times.

(But I couldn't give a toss about the cup.)

30 seconds in, Moloney blocks a shot and injures himself doing so. Right knee.
