Interesting that these journo's think Spurs are a giant compared to Leeds - not long ago you were almost their equal.
Now you are in the same band as the likes of Oldham, Luton and MK Dons

 

No argument from me! We used to be somebody, and aspire to be again. But sadly, huge optimism is required for that vision these days .....

 

I was worried for a minute, thought you were going to compare us to Millwall

 

to be serious, its true that step by step we do look less like a giant. Yes we can put on a show like Spurs on Sunday, and get a crowd that gives a "big club" feeling, but the longer the feeling goes on that the owners are settling for medicocrity, the longer youngsters start choosing to support some other God awful team rather nthan the one based in their own city, the more that headline will start to become accurate.

Spurs team that played yesterday cost 46million, ours cos 1.3 million. Of course we're underdogs and minnows compared to them. Until such time as bates, gfh or whoever are prepared to spend that sort of cash, we can't make it to the higher echelons of the pl.
