  4. Of all the candidates, he is the one I would have voted for, so that's a good start.

  5. Ah, I was wondering why he had the word "infant" in his surname! It all makes sense, now.

He has a huge job ahead of him. Not only does he have to repair the damaged reputation of FIFA, he also has to manage the ongoing crisis and criminal investigations as well as plan, prepare and execute all of the stuff that FIFA would be doing anyway. Massive job. I wish him well <ok>

  7. He would immediately make a impression if he eliminates personal payments for all members.

He kind of needs to do something radical like that, just to get people back onside with FIFA. I'm actually quite surprised that the organisation has survived this. The US prosecutors were almost going to use a dissolving order that they use against mafia organisations to completely wind the whole operation up.

You're referring to racketeering, I suspect. They may well have a case too, the major problem being the global nature of FIFA.

TBH, given the seemingly inherent corrupt nature of numerous national governing bodies, I struggle to see how anybody is ever going to put this shambles back together again.

  10. The only way is to completely dismantle the entire organization and start from scratch.

Can he play as a left back?

<that sound you can hear is Fosse and HIAG racing towards posting a very witty comment>

I wasn't referring to your crap wumming fella, I was referring to your very obvious, unoriginal "jokes" that you think are hilarious. You've got an air of Tom O'Connor about you.

  15. That's a little unfair, I'd say. 90% of my comedy is my own material. Tom o' Conner never did any "masturbating monkey" material, from what I remember.

I'm sure this will prove excellent value for money. A World Cup would never be possible without a load of OAPs meeting in Switzerland to drink cognac every few months.

I'm not sure of the relevance of their age. I think that other rather more serious flaws need attending to!!...

    Possibly starting with rampant corruption?..

Infantino is already tainted by association anyone who has had a senior position in FIFA as long as he has surely at the least must have suspected what was going on. He is already doing dodgy things to get votes i.e. expanding WC to 40 teams (dont forget how bloated Platini and him made the Euros) chucking money at the national associations plus praising Blatter. He just wants FIFA to continue as it was not make the necessary reforms though would anyone who did want fundamental reform get elected by a group that makes MPs expenses claims look reasonable
