Good. Hard to get him a definite role in the current system but I'd hope Gus will work on that.

Is he in Italy wc squad?

I'm sure someone will know. But logiaclly no- it'll be harder to get in the our squad, and we don't have any.

I don't think it has been announced yet. There are other articles where he is saying he has had a difficult season in England and won't hide behind that, but he is very fit and ready for the World Cup.....should he be selected.

Really hope he goes and has a blinder. If he comes back with a good World Cup under his belt then I think he could have a cracking season next year. He's got to start on the left wing next year. Total waste of money to buy a replacement for him given his strength and the lack of it elsewhere in the starting 11.

He's in their initial 30 man squad, will then be cut to 23.

Yeah, but even if Prandelli doesn't select him officially he will surely take him as luggage. Probably hand luggage, I think he is under 10kg and would defo fit in that little metal frame they have at check-in.

Hope he stays and plays the No.10 role behind Whickham. He is a quality player and will be even better next season after having had 1 season in the premier league already.
