I saw on the TV this arvo a ghost goal in a German game last night, and then read about the same incident on the BBC football site and it compared to 3 in England, and guess what came up???? I guess this will kick Warnock in to another anti GJ & City rant, he doesn't need much excuse after all. To be fair to Palarse they appear on the wrong side of the decision twice on a 3 goal list. For those who have not seen the incident, the striker headed the ball in to the side netting but the ball popped through the net and ended up looking as though it had gone in. Feel a bit sorry for the ref as there was no obvious claims from the keeper and defenders at the time.
Still cant get over that Palace goal. The ref was the only person in the ground that didn't think it was a goal. The roar from the Atyeo when he disallowed it was as loud as if we had scored ourselves!- Just to rub it in, we went on to win 1-0 with the goal coming in the 89th minute
We also had a perfectly good goal disallowed for a non offside decision.! Some of us also thought the Palace goal was disallowed for a foul on the edge of the box from the Dolman? Thats football...
