Tbh I wasn't even sure if he was still at the club, but i've heard rumours that he has taken a wage cut to 8k, credit to the guy if he has! I rated him in his first season for us and obviously was sent out on loan, but would love to see him given a go, at this level i personally think he would tear teams apart. COYH
It would be good to see him given a proper chance to prove himself. Always looked great on youtube and there could be a quality player in there somewhere.
frustrating when us the fans see glimpses of something potentially special but then they get relegated to the subs bench or loaned out. can only assume that its either attitude or training ground dedication that causes the problem. think belaid had the makings too. id settle for a half decent performance if the one following it was a match winning one. pace and a trick, ghilas and stewart either side of mckenna/evans and koren. I know which video you mean, and the defenders are poor but his finishing accuracy looked quite stunning, even if it was top premier league keepers in goal they wouldn't of saved half of them goals, and he looked outstanding in that game against Bolton at home, he scored and hit the bar and all the rest of it, so I would definatly love to see him given a go.
One game doesn't cut it for me. He obviously didn't do enough in training if Altidore got a game all the time.
I think one of his last outings in a Hull top was against Man U at OT when we (harshly) lost 4-0 to a one man team, and he didn't look out of place, the weird thing is the few times he did play he never looked ****e, but surely 3 managers can't be wrong? Brown, Dowie and NP have all put him aside, we can live in hope though!!

I agree with you and hope the rumour is true. I also think he would destroy teams at this level for sure. The pace he has would be far to much for all championship full backs and with Liam overlapping on the right this could be a great weapon to have. Ghilas has a fresh start and something to prove. Thats what Pearson is looking for. Young uns with desire and hunger. Fingers crossed.
A mate said he had seen it on a forum, dont know which one to be honest. Dont quite understand why anyone would make it up though, im sure something will be in HDM or something soon if it is true. Even though it is very unlikely to be true.
