Im starting to get a little bit worried now with less than 6hrs to go!
I cant believe after spending nearly 30m in the summer, we are in this situation were we are dreading the thought of making it to January with the squad the way it is!
We still have no Left winger or sufficient replacement for Bent. Crouch looks like he's off to Stoke, which is a big insult to us as a club!
 
Yup..... couldn't have put it any better myself Teesside. Bellamy's in Liverpool now (apparently). Samaras has been mentioned by Sky, but Bruce was quoted as looking for two strikers as well as LM, but where are they going to come from. I'm still not convinced the Gyan gaff is a gaff at all - I think he'll go to Spurs tonight.

We were promised in Jan after Bent left that we would make a suitable replacement. To be linked with Samaras is an embarassment!
I have no idea where they are gona come from, why do we have to leave things so late???
 
FFS - why would we want that Lanky T W A T from the f*cking Yids.

He has turned us down twice, Hasn't been any good for 2 seasons, is 31, costs too much - need I go f*cking on!!! Let Stoke have him.

PS - if we sign that other c u n t from Celtic, that will be it for me, and I'll not be back at the SOL until SB/NQ/ES have f*cked aff!!!

FFS - I am beeeelin - cannot believe we are in this situation.

Helmes would be ideal but two strikers were the call from Bruce and one won't do because I do see Gyan leaving......ok, so it's only tea leaves, but they're good tea leaves! I'd take Bendtner with Helmes though. Still worried.
 
I dont think we would allow Gyan to leave today not unless we have 3 forward lined up.

Im now just accepting that we wont sign anybody if im proved wrong great. (unless it Samaras)

Then tomorrow waiting for all the BS coming from the SOL why we didnt get anyone.
 
Still plenty of time for things to change, but how on earth have we got ourselves into this situation in the first place? We've had all summer to get players in. Too much emphasis on CM and defence, forgeting that we do have a left side and the need of experienced forwards <doh>
 
I just hope we do a saggy chops and pull out a blinder from nowhere. Have you just seen Newcastle are trying to Gazump the Ruiz Fulham deal.
