well we are doing our bit,our results are good, but every other team is doing the business as well.

The games are running out and we are still bottom, all we can do is keep doing our bit and just pray others do slip up.

But it is looking a lot harder after last nights games.

can we stay up it is looking a tall order with every game going by.

There are still sufficient games to go and there are now many teams flirting with the drop 2 losses from 3 games can take you to the bottom for quite a few clubs now 2 wins from 3 and you could be sitting pretty. We have a real chance of wins in 2 of our next 3 games and things will look a lot different. Come to that we have a fairly realistic hope of 3 wins from our next 3 games as Derby have gone off the boil as well and that would shake things up at the bottom of the table. So I am not as pessamistic as some S O'D has changed the culture at the Gate to the extent that I now expect wins rather than defeats. Before I always backed City to win where my Heart ruled my Head now both organs read from the same sheet. C.O.Y.R.

We need to carry on what we're doing, fighting for every point, can't ask for more than that..
What would really boost confidence the team is a win at Wolves to keep the run going.....this season ain't over yet, someone will go on a run, weather good or poor, which will change things considerably.
IMO....the Wolves game is massive, although we now need to treat every game like a cup final!

More than anything, we need results right now. If we can open a gap in the next few games the confidence will continue to push us towards safety.

There are no draws right now. If we don't win our situation becomes more perilous, so we need to win more than anything.

Once again, we need to win 5 of our last 9 games, I reckon beat:-

Wolves, Birmingham, Huddersfield, Sheff Wed, and one other

and we survive, simple as that...

Millwall reaching the FA Cup semi final might not do them any favours league wise and they've been in free fall for several weeks

    Good one Hawky
Long as we keep winning we will get ourselves out of it

On the other matter, I am glad you are happier about your organ <rose>
Would you like to tell us all about it ?

A loss against Wolves will not relegate us, nor will a win keep us up. Its a marathon (well OK, more like 5,000 meters now) rather than a sprint. Someone else on another post, did a forecast where we stayed up despite not winning the next 4 games. Now that would be a miracle.

should be..getting harder as the games go by!....
    ....
have been saying this for months, one of our greatest allies in our fight is Bolton whom I postulated would get into the the top 6 and got poooh pooohed for saying so...OK they are not there yet but just look at their fixture list, in fairness I did say Brum might get up there as well but their fixtures were harder...proving so far their fixtures are!!

We have 9 games left = 27 points averaging 1.6 points per game = in any other season would be enough

I can see it being. When we win, Others win, When we lose, Others Lose. No doubt it will go to last day of the season. All though I have predicted us to be safe by the Huddersfield game <yikes>
