i predict a belter on friday. a good city win and then we can all sit back and watch everyone else. happy days.
how do people feel about it being on friday? i peronally like going 1st up, opening the show etc...but i know a few people who feel the whole tradition of the 1st saturday morning of the season has been ruined a bit..
Yes. Looking at the fixtures there does not appear to be any NPC games that will have massive wins. so a 3 goal margin for city should do the trick.
With the best will in the world I dont think we can totally shut Blackpool out so a 4-1 would be a big ask! I wouldnt mind though
2-1 City. Think it'll be a cagey affair. A crap one for the telly, not much in it but City just to have enough to beat the Donkey Lashers. Not a fan of City being on the box anyway, incase we get turned over and we look like a bunch prize donkeys.

Same, sadly i havent got a season ticket this season but i will be attending all the games in which i have the money! gives me a chance to move around the ground though.. have my tickets for Blackpool and frankly i feel like a 10 year old waiting for Christmas.. i cant wait! Friday summer night, thousands watching on the tele from around the country, plenty of black and amber, the anticipation you get before the first game of the season... hoping for a good atmosphere infront of the cameras and a decent performance from our lads to show we mean business .. hoping for a 2-0 win but would love to go rampant and have a 4-2 thriller

True. *Hull City v. Blackpool on friday night Coventry v leicester on saturday lunchtime *Southampton v. Leeds on saturday teatime *West Ham v. Cardiff on sunday lunchtime. Thats a 3rd of the fixtures split all over. But in 3 of the cases its the demands of the TV* people.
Good luck on friday night. Hope its a cracker like the game the opened last season Norwich and Watford. Blackpool are very gung ho while Hull are more steady as a team.
