Well have we reached to point in the season where the top teams start to get the jitters? See below.

Chris Birchall says Port Vale need at least one point from their game against Bristol Rovers.

And Birchall says they're now desperate for a result at the Memorial Ground to get their promotion push back on the rails.

"We need to scrape a result to make sure we stay in the top three and any kind of result will do," he said.

"It doesn't matter how we perform any more. People don't care about performances at this stage. It's all about getting the result.

"It will be difficult. Their manager, John Ward is a good gaffer and I know him well, but we can't afford to lose.

"It's not all doom and gloom.

"Promotion is still in our own hands and, hopefully, we can go out and get a good result to put this bad run behind us.

"We're all looking forward to it and everyone is still upbeat. If we put our minds to it, I'm sure we can get a good result.
