Good for Ale - our club should have had more faith in him and Clint who is still fit enough to play 90 mins in most Rangers games and even scores a few goals.
Brilliant. If you need a translator, I can offer my services cheap. Might be able to pass on a few tips when I get back.
You're more than welcome to join us. I can hold my own with the Spanish though muchas gracias. ( I may need to brush up a bit though )
"Dos cervezas por favor" is the main phrase you need to know. I am expecting to make some travel plans for next Spring (no definite dates yet) so unfortunately, it looks like I will be busy. Thanks for the invite though. Enjoy yourselves.
How entirely predictable. Another example of this club's ability to shoot itself in both feet. A fitting epitaph to JFH whose sides were strangers to real football... It may be Movember but that's certainly not 'moustache of the month'...
He's a proper football player and would have been a huge asset for us in this stupid league, but you can guarantee that half the posters on here would be complaining about him if he was still here.
He looked jaded with us at the end And yes we wanted new blood Proves a move has him good but he was the key player without doubt and was brilliant with Taarabt Both on record as saying they both loved playing in the same team ... no idea how many games but we could give any team in the UK a proper go when they were both on top form Injury, Barton and stupid managers did what they could to stop the best pair cote players in recent QPR history . Privileged in my time to see skill, flair and a total understanding between two heroes I see no reason why both players should not be brought back now We may not win anything apart from pure entertainment and no better time to flood this team with confidence
He left because he wasn't promised regular football. The concern was that he may have injuries or may not be able to keep up with the busy championship schedule. But what idiot would not say to him "we'll play you as much as you're able" and keep such an asset on board? If he's not happy by mid-winter he can move then. This is especially stupid considering that we're not in the EPL and there's no limit on squad numbers.
It was a good move for him and I'm glad he's doing well. What he learnt in the English game has made him even more effective in La Liga. Clamoring for his return? Move on, and be happy for him. We've got 3 CM's in Luongo, Cousins and Borysiuk who are young, hungry and will get better and better.
Totally agree, and perhaps the less hectic playing style, and scheduling of La Liga suits him better. He will remain a QPR hero always
