What sporting honours have you accumulated in your amateur (or semi-pro, or pro) career so far. It doesn't matter which sport, how old you were, how impressive (no false modesty please, if you were/are good let's hear about it) or how unimpressive (A 3rd place rosette in the egg and spoon race is still considered a sporting honour...by me at least).....Let's see them medals on the table
When I was 15 I ran 100m close to 13 seconds. Which was good enough to win some loca school-championship. Always thought of that with some pride. I used to be a top 10 rated backgammon player in Denmark.
So you should! I read a piece on the Swansea poet Dylan Thomas the other day. Apparently, when drunk in the pub, he would whip out a photo of himself (which had been published in the local paper at the time) winning the 100m Swansea schoolboys final at the St.Helen's ground....he would describe the win as his greatest achievement I used to play backgammon with my grandfather as a child but have long since forgotten how to play (he died when I was 4)...been meaning to learn how to play again so I can teach my kids. What's your best tip to be a successful backgammon player?
MVP of a broomball league , full contact , where 200 guys played .Lots of MVP medals for various tournments in various sports Won the Western Candian mixed slowpitch championships and won MVP. Oh ya , I'm awesome ...lol
Broomball is played on a hockey rink with special brooms and a ball and special sneaker like footwear . Full contact like hockey , a few on here I'd like to go into the corner with and slam into the boards...lol
I was good at Subbuteo if that counts ? I was 1 0 up with 10 mins to go when I sprained my finger and got beat 3 1 in the under 12's Southgate Challenge Cup Final by Lawrence ........ ( won't mention his surname in case the papers are reading this ) from which I never really recovered . Sigh......
Guess my nickname gives mine away Won the Llanelli & District snooker league singles title twice in 97 and 01. Won the Swansea & district snooker league singles title 6 times - including most recently last week Also won some Welsh titles (ranking events / European Championship qualifiers). Represented Wales many times at men's level and won the home internationals with Wales back in 2004 I think. Best international achievement was L16 of European Championships in 2012. Unfortunately no pro wins as never been able to dedicate myself with holding down a full-time job. Did have one professional century tho in the few matches I did play in at that level

Ability to concentrate over long time, recognizing patterns and general luck. I do concider luck a skill, as it almost genetically follows some people, while others hardly get any. This is the closest I get to being religious. But I've seen this too much to ignore a fact. Can be compared to believing in ghosts after seeing one!
Please be assured that I would enjoy giving you the chance and to let you into a little secret , the few who I've actually met on here would echo the fact that I would enjoy, and I mean really enjoy the meeting. There's also something else you should know, Jerky , I can guarantee you wouldn't enjoy it! Now if you want to continue being a keyboard warrior and shout your mouth off that's up to you. But the inane mouthings you keep spouting show you up for what you are, you started with personal stuff you have now started with the threats keep it up but I know your type your just a loudmouth troll !
Represented Wales in skiing at national/international championships (nothing that got on telly though!!) Too many medals to mention them all throughout this time from U11 to senior but did win Irish National Champs and Celtic Cup (All home nations). Found a bar more interesting at 18 and had finished by 19. Too expensive to keep going too!! Since then have been gracing the parks of the Swansea Football League. Won an archery competition in a hotel on holiday too
All my friends know how tough I am fuffs , and both of them would tell you it. Over 60 sunshine and no one has any luck taking me ... big and small ..
