Liverpool away to Tottenham on Saturday. Tottenham are very good at home, but Liverpool have a fairly good record since Harry Redknapp left Tottenham as their manager. Tough game, because they do not play in the league cup. Tough one,my prediction 1:1 Other fixtures and predictions: Saturday 27th August 2016 This Premier League Tottenham V Liverpool 1:1 : Chelsea V Burnley 3:0 : Crystal Palace V Bournemouth 2:1 Everton V Stoke 2:2 Leicester V Swansea 2:0 Southampton V Sunderland 2:1 Watford V Arsenal 2:3 Hull Man Utd 1:3 Sunday 28th August 2016 West Brom V Middlesbrough 2:2 Man City V West Ham3:1
Tottenham v Liverpool (12:30 BST) This is an interesting one. Going forward, Tottenham have not really started firing properly yet but they have still shown why they are very hard to beat. Mauricio Pochettino's teams always protect their back four and summer signing Victor Wanyama does that job very well because he covers so much ground. I don't think Liverpool's defeat by Burnley will knock their confidence, but the way that game went for them could happen a lot this season, especially against teams from the bottom half of the Premier League The way the Reds are set up and with the players they have got, I think they are going to win quite a few games easily but, when teams score against them first, it is going to be difficult for them. Burnley were very rigid, and very well organised and defended very deep. Although Liverpool have lots players that can give them options up front, they are all quite similar and do not allow them to mix up their style of play when they are chasing a game. Lawro's prediction: 1-1 Laura's prediction: I'm going with Tottenham but I don't think we are going to run away with it. 2-1
Tottenham V Liverpool 1:1 Chelsea V Burnley 4:0 Crystal Palace V Bournemouth lawro won't care. I will say 1-0 Everton V Stoke 2-1 Leicester V Swansea 0:0. Paul Merson. How will he get on this weekend? Read on to find out... Tottenham v Liverpool - Saturday, 12.30pm, Sky Sports 1 HD I fancy Tottenham. Take away the Philippe Coutinho goal against Arsenal on the opening day and Liverpool were terrible in the first half. I think Spurs will have too much for them going forward. Oops! Remember you need to log in using your Tottenham beat Crystal Palace last time out I have been impressed with Spurs. They had a hard start at Everton, dug in and got the draw. They didn't play great against Crystal Palace last weekend but they were solid and got the late goal. That's what you have to do. Harry Kane hasn't got going yet but he will. PAUL PREDICTS: 2-1 (Sky Bet odds 17/2)
Wow... Hes impressed by a poor enough spurs start with kane looking very flat but he think all lfc did v arsenal was take on free kick....
