Hmm, tough to predict after that high and I know we will really want to win this one not jsut to beat United but with everything that has happened. I say our defense becomes solid again and 2-0 for us .
Goal banaza! Not a single clean sheet predicted? Liverpool to win 2-0, hopefully the same team will start although it depends on how Bellamy is managed. Perhaps a start for carroll.
I want the clean sheet as we have conceded what is it 6 goals in 3 games? Not good enough and we need to tighten it up, especially against United.
5. We didn't concede v Stoke. Those 3 against Bolton were piss poor though. Just curious dribbles...but how come you don't play 'I know the score'? There is a league table, 5 points for exact score, 2 points for correct result and goal difference and 1 point for correct winner.
Get on it next season, think it's only me and Chris still representing Liverpool near the top of the table. Although the table isn't working at the moment...so not sure if I'm catching up.
Lawro's verdict Liverpool 1:1Manchester United (Replay) Liverpool v Man Utd (1245 GMT) Getting past Manchester City this week to reach the Carling Cup final was so important for Liverpool, but they could probably do without having to play Manchester United less than three days later. Craig Bellamy's long-standing knee problems restrict his availability Liverpool deserved to beat City too, because City goalkeeper Joe Hart made a number of really good saves, and it felt like a proper cup tie at Anfield on Wednesday - a bit like the European nights where the crowd plays a big part. In the continued absence of Luis Suarez, Kenny Dalglish's problem is going to be who to play up front because I cannot believe Craig Bellamy will be able to play again so soon after the City game with his long-standing knee problems. United have got injuries to contend with too because Phil Jones is doubtful and Nani could be out for a while, but Sir Alex Ferguson just gets on with things without a fuss. Because of the tension between the two clubs after the Suarez and Patrice Evra affair, a draw and a replay is probably everyone's worst nightmare - they won't want the extra game either - but I have a feeling that is what we are going to get. They play in the Premier League at Old Trafford on 16 February and I think it might be one of those situations you sometimes get where clubs meet a number of times in a short space of time. Houchen says: "I can see this one going to a replay. When I played for Hibs you often had this situation where you would play the same team in the Scottish Premier League and the Scottish Cup and end up sick of the sight of each other. In this case it will benefit both clubs because playing your biggest rivals gives you a huge lift." Lawro's prediction 1-1
