Do it before the Euro's - we're in the CL proper, give the lad the cash he deserves for a truly brilliant season. 30 goals! 30!! In the PL alone. He is the reason we are playing CL football next year.
To be fair to RVP he has been honest all season - he never once committed his future to us, and he played his heart out. Given our lack of investment we cant blame him if he decides to leave. I think it would have hurt him seeing inferior players and ex team mates like Nasri and Clichy winning the PL today.
