Alrite im pissed off with all this negativity im reading on these boards lately and i think its just because fans are an impatience bunch really Fist off, we finished 7th last year and just missed out on the play-offs, with the signing of brown and all the players coming back from loan coupled with the youth players coming through i think we already have a stronger team than last season, if you disgaree thats fine but the team definately isnt much worse than last year if any which means that we would at least be challenging for play-offs again. Secondly, this negativity about the lack of signings, like i said i think its more about leeds fans being impatient, admittedly i've got a little bit frustrated with the club's transfer activity but we have been looking to sign players and we havnt been successful, no team in the championship has brought in anyone thats really jumped out other than nolan at west ham. We are still looking and i do believe grayson knows where we need strengthening but signing players isnt as easy as some make out, also it oftens takes this long because players want to consider there options and lan signigns take longer because premiership teams need to think who they want in there 25 man squad Seriously though just try to quit the negativity, its really starting to piss me off
Well goodbye then. There are lots of reasons to be very worried about Leeds United just now and fans have a right to voice them. The lets be positive approach does nowt for the football club, the players, manager and the owner couldn't give a feck what we think.

Coz, with Leeds things are ****e, perhaps occassionally on the field we get it right, but off the field, we're utter ****e

There's barely 3 weeks until the start of the season, and we still haven't got a first choice keeper - Westwood deal fell through, Lonergran deal fell though and now Stockdale deal has fallen through. It's not that we haven't signed many players yet that is worrying me, it's that Grayson has aimed to sign certain people but is now looking for alternative targets. We've got 3 trialists, with another random player from the Hungarian leagues joining up with the squad for the next friendly. That sounds a bit desperate to me.

You complain that Stockdale should not have a release cause when we all know if Jol was willing to have this inserted into a loan deal then the player would be loaned to another Premiership side... Then to top it with Bechio out injured, Somma out for the best part of a season, our keeper sold with no quality replacement, our reserve keeper Higgs released along with Naylor, Johnson and Kilkenny allowed to walk and Gradel looking like he might leave you are idiotic enough to believe we are stronger. After that statement I would be amazed if anyone EVER took your comments on this forum seriously again.
ok ristac, lets just wait and see because i do honestly believe we are stronger just because 1. We have kisnorbo back and with lees lookign quite promising 2. Brown being signed is a good signign and will provide the midfield that bit of bit that we didnt have last season 3. I was calling for both johnson and kilkenny to be dropped last season but there was no one to drop them for 4. All the players that hadnt played in the championship yet have now got that extra season's experience 5. We havnt sold our best players, this is including gradel that i think we should sell because i dont think he shows that much promise and i think yes he scores goals but he is very limited in most other areas 6. We still have time to bring in players with 2 weeks left which i admit isnt ideal but we still have that time 7. We have all the players that have come through the ranks The only way i think we are weaker infaact is with becchio injured and with grayson saying he does not intend to bring in another striker but you didnt say that, actually i think its a bit stupid for you to say that people wont take my posts seriously because my glass is half full and not half empty. People actually often complain about how much i complain, its a bit ironic thats its the other way round for me....
Josh.... we are in a mess. at xmas...a DM (brown) may have given us the push for the playoffs...bates did not invest and we tailed away having a shocking March,April and May.... 7 players have left or injured 8 if you count Billy. We clearly had a list of signings....... we kick off in two weeks.... we dont have a keeper or or a decent LB or cover in CM and we are not weaker up front... i think you are being a little naive.....and im sorry because im not bates ot Larry basher...far from it...but FFS ..... you take our money your promise us prem sigings and you expect to get them for peanuts........ The players you say through the ranks.....when did they get a game LY.....when will they this year..... Grayson is no gambler.....we know that through his tactics... we are in a bit of a mess and now with another Keeper not coming......the decesion with kasper seems even more stupid.....
Look spanish, i do see that there are problems, you cant coiunt billy because he is playing at the moment however parker went off injured so you might be able to count him. We do need a keeper, but assuming that we get a GK, a LB and a CM which we still have the time to do then will you believe that we can seriously challenge for promotion?
Yes i do....if we keep Snoddy and gradel fit....Becchio back by September...think we are in with a shout. Brown will make a difference for sure... but....no number 1 is a stupid position to be in with two weeks to go. They need to work with the back four gain and understanding and communicate...... thats what pre season does..... sorry josh this keeper issues is undefendable...... Also lets see the trialists may fill the gap... we have a right to be worried....

haha, fair enough, i do understand the position, i think grayson was kinda depending on the westwood deal which im not defending and it seemed to put him into a position, im alos quite happy that the lonergan deal fell through, dont think he is good enough. The stockdale thing is dissapointing but we should mnever have looked at loaning in a goalkeeper, it does seem a bit worrying but i still think that we will get in a goalkeeper who is just as good as kasper if not better In short im still staying optimistic....lol
What's this BS about "yes he scores goals but he is very limited in most other areas" so long as he carries on scoring & is exciting to watch &his contribution is helping us win , what more does he need to do ?

the BS about he scores goals but does nothing else is about that he does not contribute to the team in any other way, he does not show good control, his dribbling is poor, his decision making is poor, his positioning is poor and he doesnt seem like a good player, he just had a good season. The reason i say this is because poor players can have good seasons but quality players have good careers, i cannot see him having another season like he did last, if he does, good on him and i was wrong but i really cant see it happening. He compromises the way leeds united play, and i think without him in the team, we will have a better all round team performance
