Great result! Stats look decent as well. I saw that coming in while in the pub from around ten past four – watched most of the second half of the Man U Norwich game. Saturday afternoons like this have been somewhat rare in recent times.
I guess this shows how solid we have become under Mick as we all know this Leicester team humped us by 6 at their place!
When our goal flashed up on Sky Sports News, a wag in the pub referred to McGoldrick as “McGoal-drought” and it occurred to me then that if it was still PJ’s reign not only would I have had zero confidence that we could see the game out with a clean sheet but I’d have fully expected an injury time winner for Leicester. It was just the way of things. No such fears today. We’re still in an iffy position and still have a fragile squad, but times have definitely changed.
