    We're not getting him

    But I think we have all learned an important lesson, that we shouldn't build our hopes up in signing a player lets hope the same doesn't happen with N'zogbia

    Gervinho completed a £16.75 million move to Sunderland the other day... on my football manager.

    Needless to say he was marked out of the game by Ryan Taylor when I next played them.

    Too late , I actually expect N'Zogbia to sign now after the skybet articles yesterday and will be very disappointed if he doesn't!

    Dave Whelan would never do anything to help Mike Ashley, who he despises. Thus, they would sell him to Arsenal for 8million, but for us it would be more like 12million.

    Newcastle are in danger of becoming the poor man's Arsenal.

    He is a very similar player to Marveaux.

    I will be surprised if we sign him to be honest. I think we're now more likely to go after Barnetta...

    N'Zogbia is proven in the premier league though , Marveaux and Barnetta aren't.

    Not saying they wouldn't be decent signings , they could end up being fantastic signings , but would rather sign N'Zogbia.

    N'Zogbia would be great. I think the rumoured £12m is a bit OTT. If that was the price then I'd certainly rather take Marv and Barnetta.

    If the NOTW is to be believed with the £4m quote, then I'd prefer him.

    I really can't see MA, or Pardew infact, signing essentially the same player.

    You could be right , still hope we get N'Zogbia though.

    We'll never get him for 4m , hope the club isn't ****ing around again trying to make us believe they went for him , but that they couldn't agree a deal.

    on mine Gervinho, Gameiro and Jelle Vossen (OT?) all went to Newcastle (i wasn't managing them)


    I was hoping it was a good sign of things to come
