    Big news now that arsenals restructerd bid of 17m has been accepted which was my fear and probably a fresh arsneal bid was the only thing that could scupper his move to newcastle, but now it looks like it happened.
    even though its only of twitter 1000's of people are reporting the arsenal bid and it looks likely that its true.
    its no where near official but anyone that has changes thier name to anything like he used to be a man - but now hes gervinho then they could look pretty stupid come wednesday.

    but theres always hope

    I've neeeever known Arsenal to spend that sort of cash. Plus, I think they have more urgent worries with their defence.

    also, if we have only bid £12-£13mill, then why would they come in with £17mill? That's very unlike Wenger as well.
