Gervinho gone

Well that's some good news that came out of Wenger's post match comments.

 

The other great news from that press conference was that Chamakh might also **** off. Never thought we would get rid of him this season.

 

If only Bendtner would follow .....

 

He is 'completely here' according to Wenger. So no chance of that ****er going anywhere.

We already were so thin on options last season that Ramsey had to play on the wings a couple of times, with Oxo being completely underwhelming there.

Yesterday I said we need 3 signings minimum, this makes it four, a flexible wide man which can pay on both sides preferably.

But still if get rid of Gerv and Chamakh, I would be delighted. More deadwood shredded.

 

To be sure without even factoring in quality at all, our squad depth is abysmal at this point.

 

I know Wenger can be mad sometimes, but even he can't be getting rid of all these players without thinking about replacing them. Also, Chamakh is a complete deadwood and there is zero use for him. Gerv on the hand does have his uses, but hopefully Wenger is planning to replace him with someone a lot better.

 

If Gervinho is going, HOPEFULLY it means a better winger-creative type player will be coming in.

 

Gervinho does have his uses indeed, like pissing us the hell off.

It's all when and good losing unwanted players, but it would be good to get some replacements in very soonish. Gervinho wasn't great and neither was he dreadful. He was still a useful player at times and will need replacing!
