    We all know that he previously stated he wanted Champions League football, but then he acknowledged the interest Newcastle were showing and it revived our hopes of signing him.

    Anyway, I came across this on teamtalk.com and also Sky Sports:


    He's basically re-iterating that he will either stay and play Champions League football at Lille, or he'll move to a club that is playing Champions League football (such as Arsenal).

    He said it ages ago, but apparently Gervinho is talking to Pardew soon.

    I'll still remain hopeful but i doubt it really.

    But I agree to an extent, may as well get used to the prospect of someone else coming in. Menez I'd have at the drop of a hat.

    Other teams may have CL football. But never underestimate the power of Tiote. That's the real Tiote not the pessimistic bugger on here.
