My mothers told them and they both got very happy, big smiles and all. Hopefully we will be moved to the maternity ward shortly (still on labour ward) so they can visit at 6pm.
G, you could always have Jackson known as Jack, then he has a choice when he's older if the jokes really get to him. Or give him a second name and he can call himself by his initials - like JJ. My lads both have friends who's names are James and they call themselves J [Jay?]
my eldest could be called jj, and my youngest cj. i know the first is from canon ball run, i think any way, cant remember where cj came from though!
Congrats on the arrival of Henri Ryan Ford Xabi Gerrez III! All the best (congrats) to Mum and Dad! #leadinthepencil #anotherkopite
I think if you give a child a name that can be joked about, and let's face it kids can be merciless in that respect, then have an option. Did you ever watch Reginald Perrin, his boss was CJ - 'I didn't get where I am today without knowing a favourable report when I read one ....... ' etc etc
"I didn't get where I am today by wearing underpants decorated with Beethoven." "I didn't get where I am today by shaking hands with the person on my right!" "I didn't get where I am today by drinking a liquid that's only been tested on pencils."
my eldest is called jasmine so i am expecting jazzy etc youngest is called Charlotte so expecting charlie i remember where name came from, he was an egghead. and i only vaguely rememebr programme you are on about.
Think it varies but ya, I played with a DJ and sometimes the deej would come out. Also over here if you have an initial of "W" in there say CW, then some people nickname that "dub". C-dub. I get Jwill, J dub a lot.
Ah now girls names is unchartered territory for me. Our next doors daughter is Charlotte called Charlie.
